My name is Catherine Booker and I'm from the Philippines. I moved to Edmonton Alberta on July 1, 1996 and have two children, Isaac and Hannah. when I was 40 years old, i was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was terrified when I was told that the only way I could survive was a full mastectomy. After many hours of contemplation, and speaking with family members, I went into surgery on April 15th, 2014. I won against the monster of cancer.
Soon afterwards, I took a trip back to the Philippines, and my aunt Cecilia gifted me a family recipe for Milkfish Spanish Style in Olive Oil. This was a huge honour for me and a very special gift. I began making it and sharing it with family and friends, who loved it. A good friend encouraged me to start this as a business. It was a big step, but I'm very passionate and proud of this product and wanted to share it with everyone. I started in my home kitchen and have now expanded to a commercial kitchen, where I can export all over the world. I'm excited to share it with you too!
My advice to all, keep yourselves healthy. If you think something is wrong, it is always better to be safe than sorry.

I am Arielle Duave. I've been working as an entrepreneur since I was young. It has, hilariously, felts longer than what it has actually been. I'm a single mother of 4 children, Michael-Richard, Mark-Joseph, Raechel-Marie, and Yasia-Tonijyn.
I am also the founder of the Diversity Chamber of Commerce of Nevada, where we help those in need of healthcare, jobs, and general living supplies and support.
My kids are my life, and my businesses are my legacy.

Our Story
Arielle and Catherine first crossed paths through a mutual business associate and met at Catherine's home in Edmonton. They quickly formed a strong bond, connecting over their shared experiences of growing up in the Philippines and navigating the challenges of single motherhood. During one of their conversations, the idea of K & CC's came to roost. Cat had already mapped out her business partnerships but made a promise to Arielle that their friendship would be rewarded with an assured partnership in the company.
Now, Arielle and Catherine are at the helm of the US and Canadian branches, respectively. Together, they are instrumental in propelling the business to new heights, leveraging their executive acumen and achieving remarkable success.
